Father's Day

With Fathers Day coming up, it would have been nice to write about my own birth father, but seeing as I don't know anything about the man, I decided I wanted to dedicate this post to my husband. The most amazing father this wife could ask for. Is he perfect? Nope, he's not. No father is, but he does his very best!! A father is defined as "A man in relation to his child or children." But we all know it takes more than that to be a father. 💯

Being a father takes a great deal of patience and understanding. Fathers will always have a different approach to parenthood than mothers. This is ok! It's like the saying "what works for one, may not work for another" But this man, my husband is always trying to do his best for our little girl. He plays with her, helps teach her, helps her grow, spoils her and loves her with all his heart. Of course when necessary he disciplines her too. Our daughter is one energetic kid, so keeping her entertained and happy can be quite a challenge! The love he shares for her though is amazing! I love to see them bonding and spending time together. He is always encouraging her to be strong and keep trying in life. Even if she is only 3, the lessons she learns now will help her grow even stronger once she is older! Gotta start them young! lol

Not only is he a great father, he is a wonderful husband! He'll let me get some extra rest and keep our little munchkin entertained. He helps around the house with cleaning and cooking, and likes to surprise us when he can with gifts or random family night outs! He does his best to ensure we know how much we are loved!

Like moms, fathers can have it tough too! They have their struggles too! It may not always seem like it, but they do have a tough act to follow after us moms! lol jk jk But on the real, a fathers job can be just as challenging as a moms, if not more sometimes. Thank goodness my husband is up to the challenge and always fights to stay on top of fatherhood!

I am so blessed have such an amazing man as my husband and the father to our little precious princess! Thank you for all you do! Everything you do for us does not go un-noticed,and we love and appreciate you for all your hard work, sacrifice and dedication! Every day is a day to celebrate fathers! ❤
